To ensure the safety of our riders and spectators, the event will be a completely cashless environment. RFID bracelets will be provided to everyone either riding or visiting. Top-up and upload instructions will be sent prior to the event.

Tickets will be valid for the full weekend. Passouts are available.
Arrival & Parking
When you arrive, you will be welcomed by our ticketing agents. Please ensure you have your pre-purchased ticket available to be scanned.
There will be a demarcated drop-off zone to offload your bikes and gear.
If you do not have a spectator ticket, you will be able to purchase one on arrival.
You will be directed to the secure parking area.
A compulsory rider briefing will take place in the Info Centre at 10h00. Only team captains are required to attend.
Food & Beverage
Food & Beverages must be purchased from a variety of options available. Served from 06h00 on Saturday 7th to 14h00 on Sunday 8th. You will not be permitted to bring your own.
Food: a choice of the Red Star canteen, gourmet food trucks, snack bars, or you could pre-order a DIY Braai – done in true South African style.
Drinks: a full bar will be available around the clock with a wide choice of soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and fun cocktails
Energy: there will be a variety of energy drinks and snacks available. You may, however, bring your own if you are a rider.
The well-being of all riders is very important to us, so it is vital that you do the necessary training prior to the race.

There will be medical emergency personnel on site for the full duration of the event.
The safety of the riders and visitors is of utmost importance to us. There will be a full team of security throughout the duration of the event, with a full emergency procedure in place.
Riders are responsible for the maintenance of their own equipment. The race organisers will not provide technical assistance or service to bicycles or other equipment.
Toilets and showers will be available for use by riders and overnight campers.
Dedicated Marshalls will be available for the full duration of the race to assist with the riders safety and to ensure the rules of the race are adhered to.
Strict policies are in place and the marshall’s decision will be deemed final by the race organisers in the event of rule breaking.
Accurate race timing will be provided by ‘Bout Time Event. Each bike will be equipped with a timing chip that is accurate to 1000th of a second at 220km/h. Results will be shown live on screens around the pit stop area.
A winners’ Award Ceremony will take place at 12h30 on Sunday 8 December
